    Windows Live Messenger 8.1 Released!

    I just recieved an email from Microsoft Live Beta team (Mike McCoy) stating that Windows Live Messenger 8.1 Beta ends. I was among 3009 testers who tested Windows Live Messenger 8.1. During the course of beta, the messenger team recieved 1010 bugs and 456 suggestions.

    The changes in Windows Live Messenger 8.1 includes:

    • Yahoo interoperability - now you can chat to your Yahoo Messenger friends from Windows Live Messenger.
    • Your display name, status and personalization roam with you to any computer.
    • Improved sign-in performance.
    • Redesigned contact cards.
    • A bonus of 2 free VOIP calls.
    • And it runs on Windows Vista!.

    Thanks for appreciating my space. I was lucky enough to grab a free copy of Vista Ultimate from Microsoft as I was a part of its Beta testing. I am using Windows Vista and I must say that the experience is "Wow"!
