    Windows Live Messenger 8.5 Beta

    Windows Live team has now released the Beta version of Windows Live Messenger 8.5 to the public just a couple of days after it was leaked on the internet. This new version features a slick new UI which matches that of Vista's Aero UI.
     
    The changes in Windows Live Messenger 8.5 Beta includes:
    • New & improved UI which fully supports Windows Aero.
    • Better compatibility under Windows Vista.
    • Improved sign-in performance.
    • Integration with Windows Live OneCare Family Safety

    It isnt that bad either shane, atleast it matches more with Vista than versions 8.0/8.1 did but it does need a bit more work as this doesnt look like a finish product.

    seriously, it doesnt match vista. it looks ugly, and an attempt at style. i know the designers may like it, and im sorry to badmouth it, because i beta tested the original WLM 8.0 from day 1 (on another account) and that was good. but this really doesn't match vista, even 8.1 matches more.
     
    In conclusion, I really, really don't like it.
    Hopefully it will have a re-do just like 8.0 did.
